They are looking to recruit an experienced Personal Tax Semi Senior to join their dynamic tax team.The firm works with a diverse portfolio of clients, from entrepreneurial start-ups and family businesses to established companies and charities, offering a collaborative and supportive working setting with excellent opportunities for professional development.The RoleWorking as part of the tax team, you will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients while providing high-quality compliance and advisory support.Your responsibilities will include:Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients,



ensuring compliance with HMRC and internal deadlinesPreparing tax computations and returns for Manager and Partner reviewReviewing tax work prepared by non-tax specialistsProviding technical support and resolving client tax queriesAssisting with ad hoc tax advisory projects and technical researchAdvising clients on tax liabilities and relevant HMRC provisionsIdentifying tax planning opportunitiesProviding capital gains and inheritance tax planning adviceManaging more complex HMRC correspondenceDeveloping strong and trusted relationships with clientsSupporting and mentoring more junior members of the teamAbout YouPrevious experience working within a personal tax role in an accountancy practiceATT / CTA qualified or currently studying towards, or keen to work towards, a professional tax qualificationStrong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detailExcellent communication and client relationship-building skillsCommercially aware with solid analytical and problem-solving skillsOrganised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple deadlinesBenefits20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 25 daysWorkplace pensionEmployee benefits scheme with discounts from hundreds of retailersLife assuranceEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)
