Full time, continuing position HEW 7 ($107,747 - $116,630) + 17% Superannuation Based at the Melbourne City campus plus hybrid and versatile working arrangements
About the Position
As the Digital Learning Coordinator, Learning Design (LMS Administrator), you’ll play a key role in enhancing the digital learning experience across the College of Business and Law. Working closely with Learning Design, School Operations, Student Experience teams and IT Services, you will lead the administration, coordination and continuous improvement of the College's Learning Management System (Canvas), ensuring high-quality, student-centered learning experiences across multiple programs, cohorts and delivery modes. This role is responsible for LMS administration, course readiness and governance, supporting successful teaching period go-lives, resolving complex LMS issues, and driving initiatives that improve student engagement, participation and success. You will also provide expert advice, training and guidance to stakeholders while contributing to process improvement, innovation and the adoption of new technologies. To be successful in this position you've had:
- Demonstrated experience administering Learning Management Systems, preferably Canvas, including course rollovers, enrolments, permissions, integrations and course maintenance.
- Proven experience designing, implementing and continuously improving digital learning and student engagement initiatives within a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of LMS governance, service delivery and operational processes, with the ability to manage competing priorities and resolve complex issues.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills,
with the ability to collaborate effectively across academic, professional and technical teams.
- Excellent communication, training and influencing skills, with the ability to provide specialist advice and build capability in others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use data and insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvement, service innovation and the implementation of new technologies and automation solutions.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
