We are currently seeking qualified and unqualified, reliable and caring Support Workers to support our aged care clients in their homes across North Brisbane suburbs.

Employment:

Permanent Part-Time

Locations:

North Lakes, Kippa-Ring, Warner, Rothwell, Lawnton, Kallangur and surrounding northern Brisbane suburbs

Hours:

We are currently seeking candidates available for 15 to 20 hours per week

Availability:

You must be available minimum 3 week days.

Shifts:

Typically, 1–3 hours per client, with travel between multiple clients throughout the day

Renumeration:

Level 2 $34.42ph (unqualified) & Level 3 $36.23ph (qualified)+ Super + NFP Salary Packaging up to $18,550 + Paid travel time + Kilometers reimbursement + Paid training + EAP.

Shift Type:

60% or more of your shifts will involve Domestic Assistance, along with Social Support and Personal Care (qualified only), supporting Aged Care clients





Your responsibilities:

- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Providingpersonal care and supporting clients with daily routines
- Offeringsocial and recreational support , from friendly conversations toaccompanyingclients on community outings
- Transporting clients safely toappointments or social activitiesusing your own vehicle
- Running errands and providinggeneral supportto enhance clients’ quality of life

About you:

- Certificate III or higherin Individual Support , Community Services or a related field, or have experience in support work, cleaning, hospitality or similar roles
- A genuinepassion forsupporting people to live independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Caring, reliable and respectful, with the ability towork independently and as part of ateam
- Confidentdriving and willing to travel to suburbs within the Brisbane North area
- Confident in supporting clients living with dementia

Essentialto have:

- Australian Working Rights
- Current Australian Driver Licence –Open or Green P Plates .
- CurrentQueensland motor vehicleregistration , access to a reliable,insured roadworthyvehicle

Willing to obtain:

- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) andNDIS Worker Screening Check
