The role

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll work alongside participants to help them achieve their goals. Day to day, this may include:

- Supporting personal care, daily living and household tasks
- Assisting with community access, social activities and employment goals
- Supporting medication prompts and health routines.
- Building positive, respectful relationships with participants and their families
- Documenting shift notes and following each participant's support plan

About you

- No experience required, we'll teach you what you need to know
- A caring, patient and reliable approach, with great communication skills
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or caring for family is outstanding,

Essential requirements

- A current Australian driver’s licence (minimum P2)
- A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain them.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Rights to work in Australia
- Availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster, including the ability to complete a minimum of two sleepover shifts per fortnight. Common roster of care: 6am – 2pm, 2pm -10pm and a sleepover shift 10pm-6am.
