This is a varied role that splits your time between the warehouse and internal sales. It suits someone who is self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and enjoys a mix of physical and desk-based work.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email
- Prepare quotes and sales orders
- Enter and process orders in systems
- Book and liaise with freight companies
- Help with the day-to-day running of the office
- Receive, pick, pack and dispatch customer orders
- Manage inventory and stock accuracy
- Cut and reel electrical cable to customer requirements
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe and well organised
About you
- A current forklift licence (LF)
- Experience receiving, handling and dispatching goods
- Good communication skills,
on the phone and in writing
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence working alone and using your own judgement, including running the site on your own for up to a week at a time
- A punctual, reliable approach and pride in a safe, effective workplace
- The ability to handle regular heavy lifting
- A genuine interest in learning our products, customers and systems
- Nice to have: A current first aid certificate (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid)
