About the Role
You'll provide a high level operational and strategic support to the Director, Concord Institute of Academic Surgery (CIAS)and the Executive Perioperative Leadership Team, as part of the Sydney Health Partners Perioperative Clinical Academic Group (CAG) lead by Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
Daily requirements to undertake day-to-day administrative activities to support research and clinical programs; coordinate meetings, minutes and follow-up; coordinate research-related communications with clinicians and researchers, managers and external stakeholders; provide administration support to research projects, audits and evaluations; monitor research projects against milestones in the CAG; assist with ethics and governance if required.
Flexible in work days on site, but ideally would require you to work when the co-chairs of the CAG are available.

Ideal Candidate
Experience in health administration and clinical health management.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex information,
identify issues and develop practical solutions.
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical and health research processes, research governance and the requirements for translating research evidence into clinical practice.
