Hopewell Hospice is a charitable, dedicated palliative care facility servicing the Gold Coast and surrounding regions providing holistic and homestyle care. The facility offers 8 rooms with 24-hour on-site nursing, ancillary services and accommodation for anyone with life-limiting illnesses at the end stage of life. We also offer a range of support services for families and loved ones.

Your Role as Enrolled Nurse
- You’ll provide holistic care to guests at Hopewell Hospice working alongside Registered Nurses and Personal Care Workers.
- Deliver holistic care and support to guests and families accessing the service, following relevant care plans and under the supervision of the clinical team.
- Observe, monitor, interpret, document and report signs and symptoms.
- Medication administration.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of care plans.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff.
- Support guests with all aspects of daily living, including but not restricted to, personal care, associated light domestic duties and social/community participation.
- Provide guests with a physically and emotionally secure environment and promote their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual well-being.
What We’re Looking For
- AHPRA Registration.
- Ability to provide high level nursing care within the Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice.
- Demonstrated passion and commitment to connecting the community to the mission and vision of Hopewell Hospice.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism ensuring that the dignity and rights of guests and families are respected at all times.
- Proven high level teamwork and collaboration skills to achieve objectives and promote positive working relationships.
- Enthusiasm and highly effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in supporting people with illness and complex and chronic care needs.
Essential Requirements
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy).
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work.
