Digitin Coms Pty Ltd is seeking a Semi Water Tanker Operator to join our team on a casual basis or ABN . This role is based around Goulburn and Yass NSW . As a Semi Water Tanker Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the water tanker vehicle, ensuring safe and effective delivery of water to construction sites around Yass and Goulburn for Hume Link Project. Work consist of 10.5 hours a day, 7 days a week with a 3 weeks on, 1 week off roster.

Key responsibilities

- Operating water tanker vehicles safely and in accordance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Transporting water to construction sites and other locations as directed
- Performing pre-operation and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order
- Loading and unloading water from tanker vehicles with precision and care
- Maintaining accurate records of water deliveries, routes and vehicle maintenance
- Adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any incidents or hazards immediately
- Communicating effectively with site supervisors and team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and ensuring all safety equipment is readily available

What we're looking for

- Valid Heavy Combination Licence (HC) or equivalent, appropriate for operating tanker vehicles in New South Wales




- Proven experience as a Water Tanker Operator or in a similar plant and machinery operation role within the construction industry is beneficial
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to water tanker operations
- Excellent vehicle operation and manoeuvring skills, particularly in varied terrain and construction environments
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with a commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
- Current driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to perform manual tasks associated with loading and unloading
- Experience with water delivery logistics and site-specific requirements is preferred

What we offer

This add is advertised as a causal roll paying $45 - $55 an hour with allowances and penalties for the right person, however we would be happy to consider paying on ABN on an agreed flat rate. Please indicate this on your CV to discuss more.
