Diesel Fitter / HD Mechanic - Gladstone

$53-$56 per hour + penalty rate overtime | Monday to Friday | Home every night

Waterson Diesel is looking for a qualified Diesel Fitter or Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Gladstone team. If you want varied work, a supportive crew and a job that lets you sleep in your own bed each night, we'd like to hear from you.

The work

You'll diagnose, service and repair a broad range of equipment, including trucks, transport vehicles,



earthmoving machinery, cranes, elevated work platforms and generators. The role includes workshop jobs, preventative maintenance, local site repairs and breakdown assistance.

There's plenty of variety, and you'll have the support of an experienced team while being trusted to get on with the job.

What you'll bring

- A trade qualification in diesel fitting, heavy vehicle mechanics or a related trade

- Solid fault-finding and repair experience

- A current driver's licence

- Pride in your workmanship and a practical approach to safety

- Availability to participate rotating on-call roster
