The role & team

An opportunity is available for an Associate to join the firm's established property practice, working closely with experienced senior lawyers and Partners. Approximately 60-70% of the role will focus on commercial and retail leasing, predominantly representing landlords, alongside tenant-side work. You will also gain exposure to a broader range of commercial property matters. The team regularly handles substantial transactions, with matters typically starting around $5m-$10m and frequently exceeding $40m. Lawyers work across the team, providing exposure to different Partners and hands‑on involvement in matters.

Experience required

- Admission to practice law in NSW with 3+ years PQE in property law
- Solid commercial and/or retail leasing experience
- Landlord or tenant-side experience considered
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- Natural drive and eagerness to learn and grow with the team long term
