About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Officer 3 days a week (part time or casual) to develop quality, compliance, governance and resident outcomes.

Reporting to the General Manager you will support a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that care and services are evidence-based, and responsive to individual needs.

Key responsibilities

- Monitor and ensure compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
- Coordinate accreditation processes, audits, and regulatory submissions
- Maintain and review policies, procedures, and governance systems
- Ensure documentation meets legislative and organisational requirements
- Lead and coordinate continuous improvement activities across the service
- Analyse quality indicators (e.g., incidents, complaints, clinical data)




- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions
- Oversee incident management systems, including reporting, investigation, and follow-up
- Support risk assessments and mitigation strategies

About you

- Relevant qualification in Nursing, Health, Quality or related field
- Current Police Check
- Experience in aged care quality, compliance or clinical governance
- Sound knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
- Strong understanding of risk management and continuous improvement systems
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
- Ability to analyse data and drive improvements
- Commitment to person-centred and culturally safe care
- Have sound knowledge of different relevant IT systems for example Microsoft Office
