Thinking about moving from community pharmacy into hospital? This is your way in. Join the inpatient pharmacy team at Mater Mackay Hospital, a 105-bed private hospital with medical, surgical, maternity and high dependency wards, plus theatre and emergency. You'll get full training, working alongside experienced hospital pharmacists, and become a trusted clinical partner to nurses and doctors.

The role

Ward rounds and patient chart reviews

Medication reconciliation for new admissions

Inpatient supply, discharge medication summaries and patient counselling

Patient education sessions and nurse in-services

About you

Degree in pharmacy, general AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance

Community or hospital pharmacy background. Hospital experience is not required, just a keen interest in clinical practice and a willingness to learn

Transparent communicator who works well in a team

Willing to work within group policies and procedures, including medicine supply to the Mater
