SALARY: $94,923 - 108,750 p.a + Super + Leaseback

- Tertiary qualificationsin a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Strong working knowledgeand practical application of the Companion Animals Act 1998, Public Spacesand (Unattended Property) Act 2021and animal welfare standards
- Well-developedcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manageconflict and engage effectively with community members and stakeholders
- Demonstrated experiencein safely handling dogs, including aggressive animals, and cats in bothshelter environments and public settings
- Demonstrated experiencein preparing reports and documentationExperience in designingand delivering education programs related to companion animal management(dogs and cats)
- Excellent organisationaland time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks andmeet deadlines
- Ability to workindependently and collaboratively within a team, with minimal supervision
- Understanding andcommitment to WHS and EEO principles
- Completion of studies inCompanion Animal Management, including training in animal controlbehaviour, and breed identification
- Experience in AnimalShelter operations, and management of the Companion Animal Register
- Ability to managelivestock
- Authorised micro-chipimplanter
