Enshaw Electrical Services is looking for a qualified electrician to join our team in a CHPP Operations / Electrical Technician role in the Gunnedah region.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for more variety . You'll work across both CHPP operations and electrical maintenance, gaining experience across the entire plant while continuing to develop your trade.
The Role
You'll be involved in:
- Operating and monitoring CHPP plant and equipment.
- Train loading and stockpile management.
- Coal movements and production activities.
- Plant inspections and responding to operational issues.
- Electrical breakdowns and fault finding.
- Preventative electrical maintenance.
- Motors, conveyors, pumps and control systems.
- Electrical and group isolations.
- Shutdowns and plant improvement works.
Previous CHPP experience is great, but isn't essential for the right electrician with a valuable attitude and willingness to learn.

What You'll Need
- Current NSW Electrical Licence.
- Current driver's licence.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights.
- Good safety attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work day and night shifts.
- Ability to work across both operations and electrical maintenance.
- Ability to complete a Coal Services Order 43 medical, drug & alcohol screening and site onboarding requirements.
Mining, CHPP, fixed-plant or heavy-industrial experience will be highly regarded but isn't essential.
