Senior Project Architect - Education Projects

This established and growing architecture practice offers the opportunity to join a collaborative team with a strong pipeline of education projects across Victoria. They are seeking a Senior Project Architect with proven education sector experience who can confidently manage projects through the full lifecycle, from early concept and design through to Contract Administration. Working closely with the Director, clients and contractors, this is a hands‑on role suited to an architect who enjoys both design leadership and project delivery. With genuine opportunities for qualified growth, it’s an excellent chance to take on meaningful responsibility within a close‑knit practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead education projects across VSBA, tertiary, independent and Catholic sectors from concept through to Contract Administration
- Take ownership of project delivery, coordinating consultants, documentation, programs and construction requirements
- Work closely with the Director, clients and contractors to maintain strong relationships and ensure successful project outcomes
- Provide design leadership while overseeing technical development, documentation and delivery across all project stages
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice through high-quality project delivery and client engagement

Skills & Experience





- Min 10yrs professional experience with proven experience delivering architecture projects within the education sector is essential
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, with demonstrated experience through to construction and Contract Administration
- Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with Directors, clients, consultants and contractors
- Strong technical and documentation capabilities, with Revit experience highly regarded
- Senior-level architect with the initiative, ownership and commercial awareness to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
