Provide high level medical imaging services across a range of clinical areas including General Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to clients of the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS).
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Radiographer – Senior (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Perform high level examinations in General Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Direct, develop and supervise less experienced clinicians in the maintenance of profession standards
- Participate in shift rotation between General Imaging and the area(s) of expertise
- Undertake high level duties with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree as a Radiographer
- Registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Base salary ranging from $128,169 - $137,918 per annum

The Medical Imaging delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). The service provides a Level 6 Medical Imaging service at Southport (Gold Coast University Hospital) and a Level 4 service at Robina with satellite imaging services at Varsity Lakes Day Hospital and Tugun Satellite Hospital.
