As a Disability Support Worker at Nextt, you’ll support a person to build independence, reconnect with their community and enjoy meaningful everyday experiences. You’ll provide community access, support with daily activities and assist with a small amount of domestic tasks.

We’re looking for a femaleDisability Support Worker to support a client in Ballina.

The client is looking to re‑engage with the community, get back to being an active team member and return to playing soccer. This role would suit someone who is friendly, engaging and encouraging, with a genuine interest in supporting someone to get involved in the things they enjoy.

Who We’re Looking For:

- A warm, positive and reliable Disability Support Worker
- Experience supporting community access and social participation
- Someone who is engaging and encouraging, with a genuine interest in helping others
- Comfortable supporting sport, recreational activities and community outings
- Able to encourage independence and confidence
- Comfortable working independently and following support plans and client preferences
- Willing to assist with basic domestic tasks as required
- Solid communication skills and able to complete clear shift notes and handovers

Support Includes:





- Community access and social engagement

- Supporting appointments and community outings
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Basic domestic assistance and daily routines
- Monitoring wellbeing and completing shift documentation

Certificates & Licences Required:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
- Australian Driver’s License and fully insured vehicle

Pay Rates

E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)

SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):

- Base hourly rate: $36.81
- Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $40.49
- Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday): $41.23
- Saturday: $51.54
- Sunday: $66.26
- Public holiday: $80.99
