About the Opportunity

You bring experience in financial administration, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. You are comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining robust financial controls while ensuring compliance with governance and reporting requirements.

A proactive and collaborative team member, you build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and can confidently liaise with managers, project teams, subject matter experts, and finance professionals. Your strong communication skills enable you to present financial information clearly and contribute positively to project planning, monitoring, and review activities.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate project budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting activities to support Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and broader workforce development initiatives.
- Monitor project financial performance,



analyse variances, and provide insights and recommendations to support effective decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial tracking tools, metrics, and reporting systems to ensure accurate governance, compliance, and project visibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, partnering with project teams to promote sound financial management practices.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and high-performing culture while supporting projects that enhance workforce capability and organisational growth.

About you

- Relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications in Finance, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences.
- Proficiency in project management and finance systems, including Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Jira, and other reporting tools.
- Experience working in a project-based environment, ideally within Defence or a similarly complex industry, will be highly regarded.

This role is well suited to professionals with experience in finance administration, accounts payable, procurement, project financial support,



or broader finance coordination roles who are looking to apply their skills in a project-focused environment.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
