Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the UX/UI design process for digital solutions, ensuring user needs are at the forefront.
- Advocate for design principles within an engineering-focused culture to enhance product development.
- Collaborate across teams, including stakeholders and engineering, to align design goals with business objectives.
- Develop and implement design strategies that improve usability and user engagement.
- Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that align with project requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the design team, fostering skill development and innovation.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and industry best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate user feedback to drive continuous improvement in design solutions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate will have:
- 10+ years experience within the UX/UI design, particularly within digital solutions.
- 3+ years of management experience within UI/UX design
- Strong advocacy skills for promoting design in technical and engineering-focused environments.
- Experience across FIGMA, Atlassian, Adobe and Microsoft tech stack
- Excellent cross-collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
- A portfolio showcasing user-centred design solutions and cutting-edge approaches.
- Strong communication and a solution-driven mindset
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in design.
- Leadership skills to guide and develop a design team effectively.
