About the role
Community and Oral Health is looking for a Librarian to provide proactive, specialist information and research services to staff across a diverse healthcare environment.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to provide expert database searching, document delivery and current awareness services, in support of clinical practice, professional development and research.
- Develop and deliver research training workshops and maintain information literacy material for use in these training sessions.
- Actively promote the use of the Clinical Knowledge Network and other electronic resources available to Metro North staff and maintain knowledge of the appropriate use of the various databases, electronic journals, and electronic books available.
