About the Role

We're looking for a driven and customer-focused Business Development Representative to grow our market presence and build strong, lasting customer relationships. This role is focused on driving growth within our Mobile Storage division, helping customers deliver successful outcomes across a range of industries and projects. You'll identify new business opportunities, grow existing accounts, and deliver tailored equipment rental and solution-based offerings that add real value to our customers.

What you’ll be doing

- Identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory.
- Growing existing customer accounts and increasing share of wallet.
- Building strong relationships through regular customer engagement and site visits.
- Preparing quotes, negotiating agreements, and closing sales opportunities.
- Working closely with operations and support teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity records in Salesforce.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs.
- Collaborating with other United Rentals divisions to maximise cross-selling opportunities.





What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 3 years' experience in B2B business development, sales, or account management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and confident working independently.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and delivering customer-focused solutions.
- Experience in the equipment rental, construction, industrial, or related industries will be highly regarded.
- A commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and workplace safety.
