About the role
The Assistant Manager, Property is responsible for providing strategic guidance and expert advice on the management of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Cth) (CDPP)’s property portfolio and workplace environment.
Working across the CDPP and with external providers, you will:
- provide trusted advice on property, and facilities matters, balancing operational requirements, business priorities, financial considerations, risk and government policy;
- use sound judgement to identify emerging issues, develop practical solutions and support senior executives to make well-informed decisions; and
- lead and develop a small team and build productive relationships with senior stakeholders, service providers and government partners.
The role offers an opportunity to influence how the CDPP uses and manages its property assets to support its people and business outcomes.
What will you bring?
You will bring:

- a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve property services, processes and the workplace experience; and
- a strong commitment to integrity, accountability, probity and transparent decision-making.
You will be comfortable operating at both a strategic and practical level. You will know when to lead, when to seek specialist advice and when an issue needs to be escalated. You will bring a collaborative leadership style and create an environment where people are accountable for delivering high-quality outcomes.
Why join us?
This is an opportunity to shape how the CDPP manages its property and workplace environment and to contribute directly to the effective stewardship of public resources.
