About the role

Daanveer Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Dry Creek, SA, this role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service whilst representing our company professionally on the road. This is a key position that directly impacts our operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Operating commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

- Planning and executing delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations

- Conducting pre-journey and post-journey vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues

- Loading, securing and unloading cargo in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures

- Maintaining accurate logbooks, delivery documentation and vehicle records

- Communicating with dispatch, customers and colleagues to ensure smooth operations

- Adhering to fatigue management laws and taking appropriate rest breaks

- Maintaining a professional appearance and providing excellent customer service at all delivery points

- Reporting any accidents, incidents or vehicle damage immediately to management

What we're looking for

- Current and valid heavy vehicle driver's licence (HV or HC) appropriate for the vehicle being operated

- Proven experience as a truck driver in a commercial transport environment

- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, fatigue management laws and transport compliance requirements

- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and accident prevention





- The ability to work independently whilst maintaining regular communication with the team

- Physical fitness and capability to perform loading and unloading tasks

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining records and documentation

- Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery schedules

- Customer service skills and a professional demeanour when interacting with clients

- Relevant certifications such as Chain of Responsibility (CoR) accreditation or similar are highly desirable
