Skilled Industrial Electrician Wanted - Competitive Pay & Growth Opportunities

Our client, a well-established manufacturer operating within a highly automated production environment, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Industrial Electrician who enjoys fault finding, breakdown maintenance and keeping production equipment operating at maximum efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining critical manufacturing equipment while supporting ongoing improvements in machine reliability and plant performance.

What's on Offer

- Permanent full-time position

- Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm

- $64.00 - $68.40 per hour (including shift loading)

- Superannuation

- Overtime available for those who want it (10 -20 hours)

- Every second Friday off

- Double-time rates available when working rostered days off

- Stable long-term employment with a growing manufacturer

- Opportunity to work on a broad range of automated production equipment

- Annual earnings can exceed $150,000 depending on overtime worked

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to electrical breakdowns and minimise production downtime

- Perform fault finding, troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment

- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance activities

- Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives





- Maintain electrical control systems and automation equipment

- Assist with machinery upgrades and maintenance projects

- Work closely with production teams to maximise plant performance

- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Current A Grade Electrical Licence

- Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician

- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, printing, plastics, recycling or similar industrial environment

- Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment and basic PLC fault finding

- A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving

- Robust commitment to workplace safety
