Nudo is looking for experienced Front of House team members, Bartenders & Event Crew to join our casual events team across weddings, private functions, corporate events and venue events throughout Melbourne.
This is a hands-on role for people who enjoy fast-paced hospitality and want to build their experience in events.
The Role
You’ll work as part of an event team delivering food and beverage service from guest arrival through to completion of the event. Depending on the event, this can include:
- Food and beverage service
- Bar service and beverage preparation
- Clearing, resetting an maintaining service areas
- Working from event run sheets and taking direction from Event Coordinators and Supervisors
- Supporting event setup and pack-down when required
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people with previous hospitality, restaurant, catering or event experience. Wedding and function experience is highly regarded.
FOH team members should be:
- Confident with food and beverage service and comfortable working at pace
- Confident with 3-plate carry and 5-plate clearing
- Professional, well-presented and guest-focused
- Calm under pressure with robust attention to detail
Bartenders should have:
- Experience working in busy, high-volume bars
- The ability to work efficiently as part of a larger bar team
- Experience making cocktails from batches and following event-specific recipes
- A good understanding of general bar service, setup and workflow
Across all roles, we are looking for people who are reliable, take direction well and can work professionally as part of a team.
A current Victorian RSA and the right to work in Australia are required.
Set Up & Creative Crew
There is also the option to work with our Set Up & Creative Crew. This is completely optional and provides an opportunity to gain experience across event bump-in, styling, setup and pack-down.
Availability
Events operate across weekdays, evenings and weekends, with peak periods generally Thursday–Sunday.
Casual team members apply for available shifts through our rostering system, so flexibility and reliable availability are important.

Pay: $33.85/hr + applicable penalty rates + superannuation, in accordance with the relevant Award and classification.
