Join Aggreko as a Commissioning Lead on the Eva Copper Hybrid Power Project in North-West Queensland.

Job Overview This role will initially lead the commissioning of a large-scale thermal power station, including HV systems, diesel generators, fuel infrastructure and associated balance‑of‑plant. As the project progresses, the role will transition into commissioning leadership for the Solar Farm, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and integrated microgrid systems. The successful candidate may also assume responsibility for the site's Permit Authority function.

What you’ll do as Commissioning Lead :

- Lead pre-commissioning, commissioning, energisation and performance testing activities.
- Coordinate OEMs, contractors and commissioning teams.
- Develop commissioning procedures, test plans and handover documentation.
- Manage HV energisation and electrical safety activities.
- Drive project readiness, defect close-out and transition to operations.
- Support isolation, switching and permit-to-work processes.

You are:

- Proven experience leading commissioning activities on power generation, electrical or industrial projects.
- Strong HV commissioning and energisation experience.




- Sound understanding of electrical safety, isolation and switching procedures.
- Strong leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Brisbane based and willing to work a 2:1 roster from Cloncurry.
