CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER BIRPAI LOCAL ABORIGINAL LAND COUNCIL
This position holder will provide an extensive range of assistance and support to the elected Board through the day-to-day management of the Birpai's affairs in accordance with delegated authorities, the provision of sound and accurate advice and the implementation of the Board's resolutions in a timely and appropriate manner.
Key responsibilities
Day-to-day management of the Birpai's affairs in accordance with delegated authorities
Provision of sound and accurate advice to the elected Board
Implementation of the Board's resolutions in a timely and appropriate manner
About you
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the ALRA
Capacity to interpret and implement legislation




Sound communication skills
Organisational and management experience
Understanding of accounting practices and principles
Sound knowledge and appreciation of Aboriginal issues
Ability to demonstrate Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage
