This is a hands‐on role suited to a trade-qualified Boilermaker/Welder who has demonstrated leadership ability and supervisory experience within a fabrication or manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping coordinate workshop activities, supporting team members and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a hands‐on role suited to a trade-qualified Boilermaker/Welder who has demonstrated leadership ability and supervisory experience within a fabrication or manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping coordinate workshop activities, supporting team members and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
About the Role
Working closely with the Workshop Manager and Supervisors, you will:
Lead and support a team of fabrication and welding personnel
Assist with the day‐to‐day supervision of workshop activities
Coordinate workflow to meet production schedules
Carry out fabrication and welding work as required
Ensure work is completed to required quality standards
Promote and maintain safe work practices
Lead by example and foster a positive team culture
Assist with training and mentoring apprentices and less experienced employees
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A relevant trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Welder
Extensive welding and fabrication experience
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
Previous experience in a Leading Hand, Supervisor or similar role, or demonstrated experience supervising small teams
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proven ability to lead by example and support team performance
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
