We are seeking a driven and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to join a high-performing boutique hotel environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operation and is confident leading service across restaurant, bar, room service, and events.
About the Role
As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations across all outlets, ensuring service standards are consistently delivered, and leading the team from the front during service. This is not a behind-the-scenes role — you will be actively involved on the floor, driving performance, supporting the team, and ensuring every guest interaction meets expectations.
The property operates a full-service food and beverage offering including:
A la carte restaurant (breakfast and dinner service)
Bar and lounge with strong event-driven trade
In-room dining / room service
Multiple conference and function spaces, including a large ballroom and private dining areas
With a mix of corporate, leisure, and major event demand, no two days are the same. This role requires strong organisation, adaptability, and a proactive leadership style.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise service across restaurant, bar, and events
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high service standards across all outlets
Oversee the execution of conferences, functions, and private events
Act as the key point of contact during events,



ensuring run sheets and timings are delivered accurately
Support, train, and mentor team members, providing real-time feedback on shift
Conduct team briefings and ensure clear communication of daily priorities
Monitor staffing levels and adjust in line with business demand and labour targets
Drive revenue through upselling and strong product knowledge
Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, and operational procedures
Complete and oversee opening/closing procedures, checklists, and cash handling
About You
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or high-volume venue
Strong understanding of restaurant, bar, and event operations
Confident leading a team in a fast-paced workplace
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues in real time
High attention to detail and accountability
Current RSA (required)
