This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced underground miner to drive safe and productive mining activities while mentoring and leading high-performing crews.About the RoleAs an Underground Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading underground mining crews to safely achieve development and production targets.
You will provide hands‐on leadership, coordinate daily mining activities, and ensure compliance with site procedures,



statutory requirements and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise underground mining crews across development and production activitiesCoordinate daily work plans to achieve production and development targetsEnsure all underground activities are conducted safely and in accordance with site proceduresConduct pre‐shift meetings, workplace inspections and safety interactionsMonitor workforce performance and provide coaching and mentoring to team membersManage workplace hazards and ensure corrective actions are implementedLiaise with engineering, maintenance and technical teams to coordinate underground activitiesInvestigate and report incidents, hazards and operational issuesMaintain accurate shift reports and production recordsDrive a strong safety culture and positive team environmentAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Significant underground hard rock mining experience in a supervisory or leading hand capacityDemonstrated experience overseeing underground development and/or production crewsStrong leadership, communication and people management skillsSound understanding of underground mining operations and statutory requirementsCommitment to safety leadership and operational excellenceCurrent NSW Underground Shift Supervisor Ticket (Compulsory)Relevant mining competencies, licences and qualificationsCurrent Australian work rightsAbility to pass site medical and employment requirements
