Production Supervisor Afternoon Shift - Print PackagingAfternoon Shift Production Supervisor – Printing & PackagingInter Industrial Services is currently recruiting an experienced Production Supervisor for a leading and well-established print and packaging company located in Melbourne's northern suburbs.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on production leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a strong understanding of flexographic print, packaging production operations.The OpportunityReporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the afternoon shift team and ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety requirements and customer deadlines are consistently achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise and motivate the afternoon shift production teamCoordinate daily production activities to meet output and delivery targetsMonitor production performance, quality and efficiencyEnsure all staff follow workplace health & safety proceduresIdentify and resolve production issues and bottlenecksManage workflow, staffing and production prioritiesOversee the production and workflow of all departments: Printing, Slitting,



Bag making and Warehousing to ensure smooth production flowCoach and develop team members to achieve their full potentialComplete production reporting and communicate shift performance to managementAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader or similarExperience within the printing, packaging or manufacturing industry – Flexographic printing experience is highly desirable.Strong leadership and people-management skillsExcellent problem-solving and communication abilitiesThe ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesA robust understanding of workplace health and safetyA hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the frontA strong commitment to quality and continuous improvementWhat's On Offer?
