The Role
You'll report to our Founder, who has run marketing to date.
You'll take full ownership of paid ads, creative, email and packaging messaging.
This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll build and run the work yourself while leading our small in-house marketing and creative team, who will report to you.
What You'll Own
Paid Ads
Meta and Google Ads across five markets: structure, budgets, bidding, testing and scaling
Performance against the numbers that matter: CAC, ROAS, contribution margin and payback
A weekly testing rhythm that finds winners and cuts losers fast
Creative




Creative strategy for image and video, with video as the priority
Briefing and directing our designer and video editor on hooks, angles, demos and UGC style content
Turning performance data into the next round of creative
Email & Retention
Klaviyo campaigns and flows: welcome, abandonment, post purchase, replenishment and winback
Improving open rate, click rate, conversion rate and revenue per recipient
Growing repeat purchase and customer LTV
Packaging & Messaging
Reviewing packaging, product pages and listings so the USP and the problem we solve are clear at a glance
Keeping the message consistent from ad to page to pack
What You Bring
A proven track record selling problem solving DTC or FMCG products through digital marketing.
This is the most important requirement.
Hands on Meta Ads experience at meaningful spend, plus working Google Ads capability
Strong video creative instincts: you know why a video ad sells and have built a testing process around it
Deep Klaviyo experience, with results you can point to in flow performance and LTV
Commercial thinking in margin, CAC and payback, not reach
Multi market experience is a strong advantage
Self directed and comfortable in a lean business
Able to work Australian or New Zealand business hours
If your background is brand, traditional or retail led marketing, this won't be the right fit.

$100,000 to $120,000 AUD + super
