OverviewWe have an opportunity for an experienced Driver Trainer to join our team.
You will be responsible for delivering training and assessing competency for our new and existing employees across our range of heavy vehicles.
Our national fleet consists of over 300 trucks ranging from HR to MC vehicles.
Our transport division undertakes local and interstate transport activities, transporting our own products throughout the country.
Our vehicles are serviced and maintained in our in-house workshops.ResponsibilitiesDelivering and developing internal training programsConducting on-site training with new and existing employeesEnsuring employees are trained to operate in line with company standardsMaintaining current industry knowledge and skills for the various vehicles our employees will be trained inQualificationsA current MC licence and extensive driving experience (Volvo experience would be an advantage)Formal qualifications in training and assessmentA strong understanding of mass management and fatigue management rulesA robust understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management and organisational skillsAs part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, drug and alcohol testing.Borg is an Equal Opportunity EmployerApply Now
