$79K PA - $85K PA COLDLINE REFRIGERATION MANAGEMENT PTY LTD is looking for a full time Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic for their thriving business in Seven Hills, New South Wales.
The business is a Sydney-based commercial refrigeration specialist providing tailored refrigeration solutions to clients across a range of industries.
Its services include bespoke refrigeration system design, equipment installation, preventative maintenance, and 24/7 emergency breakdown support.
The business focuses on delivering reliable, efficient and cost-effective solutions, supported by an experienced technical team and a strong commitment to quality workmanship, professional service and long-term customer relationships.
To be considered for the role, you need to have a relevant industry qualification or at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar position.
Skills & Experience
Install, maintain, service, and repair commercial and residential air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on split systems, ducted systems, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment
Conduct routine preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance
Test electrical circuits, components, controls, and refrigerant systems using specialised diagnostic equipment
Install compressors, condensers,



evaporators, motors, fans, ductwork, piping, and associated equipment
Recover, vacuum, test, and recharge refrigerant systems using gas and fluid pressure testing methods and vacuum pumps, in accordance with industry regulations and environmental standards
Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, plans, and specifications for installation and repair works
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with required standards, WHS requirements, and company procedures
Identify and recommend system upgrades, repairs, and energy-efficient solutions to clients where required
Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Liaise professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members regarding job requirements and project updates
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a safe and clean condition
Assist with emergency breakdown services
Work collaboratively with the team, including providing guidance and on-the-job training
Ensure high standards of workmanship, customer service, and attention to detail across all projects
