We are recruiting a Senior Strategy and Commercialisation Consultant to join our growing team to support our current and future clients.This is a remote role to be based in Australia.In this role, you will work closely with cleantech pioneers to lead strategy engagements end to end, from shaping project scope through to delivering final insights.You'll take ownership of workstreams, conduct strategic analysis, and translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights.As a Senior Consultant, you'll work closely with project leads to ensure projects run smoothly, whilst leading some engagements end-to-end, from shaping project scope to delivering final insights.You will mentor junior consultants and collaborate across the Helixos team on commercialisation, communications, and technical advisory work.What this role typically involvesSupporting complex strategy and commercialisation projects across multiple sectors, but primarily fusion and nuclear fission.Developing technology roadmaps and market entry strategies for cleantech innovation, particularly in nuclear energy and fusionEngaging with global clients and stakeholders, from government departments to startup foundersGuiding team members, project managing delivery, and ensuring client outcomes are metSupporting clients through their commercialisation journey, from ideation to go to marketRepresenting Helixos through thought leadership and partnership building across the cleantech ecosystem, especially in nuclear energy and fusionRequirementsExperience as a Strategy Consultant advising clients on market entry, R&D; road maps, and commercialisation of new technologies.A technical background in engineering, physics, or applied sciences, ideally in energy or adjacent sectors,
or demonstrable experience guiding strategies within these sectorsExperience creating technology road maps and leading market entry strategies within energy, engineering, or nuclear sectorsThe ability to zoom out to macro trends and zoom in to identify actionable commercial pathwaysComfort working in a fast paced, remote team across multiple time zonesA genuine interest in sustainability, energy, and the long term future of the planetDemonstrable communication skills, including clear written outputsProven project management experience, balancing client needs with internal workflowsAwareness of the cultural and policy landscape in technology and startups, with instinct for where markets are headingBonus if you have:Experience in the nuclear/fusion sectorClear understanding of what it takes to turn technical innovation into viable, scalable solutions in complex, regulated marketsBusiness development experience or an established network in the energy innovation ecosystemWe don't just deliver reports, we partner for impact.
