We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time while helping maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organisational skills, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer services.About the RoleAs our Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of supplier invoices, maintaining vendor records, supporting payment processes,
and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain supplier accounts and vendor records within company ERP systemsProcess supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficientlyRespond to supplier and internal stakeholder enquiries in a professional and timely mannerAssist with supplier reconciliations and payment processingEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controlsIdentify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to system enhancementsMaintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks to support finance operationsWhat You'll BringEssential Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in an Accounts Payable or Creditor Ledger roleExperience working with computerised accounting or ERP systemsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA proactive and collaborative approach to teamworkIntermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelQualificationsYear 12 Certificate or equivalentRelevant Accounting, Finance, or TAFE qualifications will be highly regardedAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environmentIntermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills,
