As part of our Property & Infrastructure team, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, reliable and compliant environment that supports exceptional patient care.

About the RoleReporting to the State Engineering Supervisor, you will provide operational leadership for maintenance activities, contractor management, asset reliability and engineering compliance across the campus.
You will oversee critical services including HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), electrical infrastructure, medical gases, fire services and essential services.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily engineering and maintenance activities across the Fitzroy CampusSupervise engineering trades, maintenance staff and external contractorsEnsure preventative maintenance programs are completed effectivelyMonitor and optimise BMS, HVAC, mechanical,



electrical and fire systemsRespond to engineering incidents and service interruptionsConduct routine inspections of plant and infrastructure assetsManage contractor inductions, safety compliance and performanceSupport delivery of minor capital works and infrastructure projectsMaintain statutory compliance records and documentationParticipate in emergency management and engineering response activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve asset reliability and energy efficiencyPrepare operational and compliance reports for management About YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance and engineering services in healthcare, facilities management or other critical infrastructure environmentsExperience managing contractors and service providersStrong knowledge of preventative maintenance and asset management principlesExperience working with Building Management Systems (BMS)Sound technical understanding of HVAC, mechanical, electrical and essential services infrastructureStrong understanding of WHS and compliance requirementsExcellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills DesirableHealthcare facilities maintenance experienceKnowledge of Australian healthcare accreditation standardsExperience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical,
