OVERVIEW OF ROLE We're looking for a curious, proactive and results driven Financial Accountant who wants to support the transformation of the finance function and support the business through our growth trajectory.
You will collaborate with both finance and the broader business to modernise workflows, lead and implement process improvement initiatives while keeping an eye on compliance.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Core Accounting Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting with relevant accounting standards (AASB/IFRS), including financial analysis and insightsMaintain general ledger integrity and oversee reconciliations Provide guidance and support to junior team members when requiredAudit, Risk & Compliance Support external audits and compliance requirements Assist with the redesign,



implementation and monitoring of accounting policies to safeguard against business riskAssist with preparation of the R&D; tax incentivesStay up-to-date on global tax regulationsProcess Improvement & Projects Embed AI directly into day to day finance Providing input into testing and implementation of a new ERP systemAssist with finance transformation projects and new initiativesPartner with other departments (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Operations) to ensure accurate financial reportingAbout youBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldCA or CPA qualification (or actively pursuing)Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a high-growth or start-up environmentStrong technical accounting skills (AASB and IFRS)Proven experience in managing the month-end close process and preparing financial statementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment.Excellent communication and a positive mindsetA proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
