Health, Safety & Environmental Officer (HSE) - Sunshine Sugar Broadwater MillWe are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Officer to join our Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability team based at Sunshine Sugar's Broadwater mill.This is a key site based role supporting our Broadwater operations, where you will partner closely with leaders and frontline teams to strengthen HSE performance and embed a positive safety culture.As a trusted advisor, you will coach, influence and support operational teams, ensuring HSE systems, processes and statutory requirements are effectively implemented while driving continuous improvement across the site.
Take a look inside one of our mills by watching the video below.Key responsibilitiesPartner with site leaders to implement and embed HSE systems, programs and processesSupport compliance with WHS and environmental legislation and organisational standardsFacilitate incident and injury investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actionsConduct audits, inspections and risk assessments to ensure effectiveness of controlsCoach and build capability in frontline leaders and teamsSupport delivery of HSE training programs in partnership with Learning & DevelopmentCoordinate and contribute to HSE forums and consultation processes (e.g. HSR meetings)Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HSE systems and practicesWe are looking for:Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or related discipline)Demonstrated experience in a HSE role within manufacturing,



industrial or high risk environmentsStrong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and codes of practiceExperience with incident investigations and auditing processesStrong written, communication and leadership skillsAbility to make sound decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience and judgementStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsAbility to coach and build capability in operational teamsA proactive approach with a robust commitment to safety and continuous improvementWhy join Sunshine Sugar?
