Destiny Therapy Group – Sunshine Beach QLDDestiny Therapy GroupAustralia Wide Flexible and Remote Working OptionsContract/Subcontractor$****** per billable hour, inclusive of superannuationAbout the roleDestiny Therapy Group is seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners who want the independence of managing their own client base while accessing the systems and infrastructure needed to operate successfully.This opportunity is designed for practitioners who already have their own clients and referral relationships, or who are confident in independently developing their own caseload.Destiny Therapy Group operates as a facilitator of behaviour support services.
We provide practitioners with access to our organisational infrastructure, systems and custom-built Behaviour Support Practitioner CRM.We do not allocate clients, provide leads or guarantee referrals.
You will be responsible for sourcing, developing and maintaining your own client base.In return, you will receive 88% of the applicable service fee, inclusive of superannuation.Based on the current NDIS Behaviour Support rate of $****** per hour, you will receive $****** per billable hour, inclusive of superannuation.This is an chance to retain the majority of the income generated from your services while avoiding the need to develop all of the systems, technology and compliance infrastructure required to operate independently.What you'll be doingAs an independent subcontractor, you will be responsible for managing your own clients and delivering high-quality behaviour support services.Your responsibilities will include:Sourcing and maintaining your own clients and referral relationshipsConducting functional behaviour assessments and other relevant assessmentsDeveloping interim and comprehensive behaviour support plansDelivering evidence-based and person-centred behaviour support interventionsConsulting with participants, families, support coordinators, service providers and multidisciplinary teamsSupporting implementing providers to understand and implement behaviour support strategiesMonitoring participant progress and reviewing behaviour support plansCompleting accurate case notes, assessments, reports and compliance documentationProviding practical guidance and education to participants, families and support teamsIdentifying and responding appropriately to safeguarding and duty-of-care concernsMaintaining professional boundaries and complying with relevant ethical requirementsMeeting applicable NDIS Commission, restrictive practice and reporting requirementsManaging your own appointments, availability, travel,



documentation and stakeholder communicationMaintaining your professional development, supervision and practitioner suitability requirementsA CRM built specifically for Behaviour Support PractitionersA key benefit of working through Destiny Therapy Group is access to our custom-built CRM.Unlike generic practice-management systems, our CRM has been specifically designed around the work, documentation and compliance responsibilities of Behaviour Support Practitioners.The CRM assists practitioners to manage and track important information, including:Participant and stakeholder detailsAppointments and service deliveryCase notes and practitioner recordsBehaviour support assessments and plansCompliance requirements and documentationImportant due dates and review periodsPractitioner credentialsInvoices and paymentsCaseload and service activityOur goal is to reduce unnecessary administration and provide practitioners with one centralised system through which they can manage their behaviour support practice.What we're looking forWe are seeking practitioners who are experienced, self-directed and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred behaviour support.You will ideally have:Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability, or eligibility to obtain suitabilityA relevant qualification in psychology, social work, counselling, developmental education, occupational therapy, disability or another relevant discipline or suitable experience in the industryExperience completing functional behaviour assessmentsExperience developing interim and comprehensive behaviour support plansA sound understanding of positive behaviour support and evidence-based practiceKnowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirementsKnowledge of regulated restrictive practices and relevant reporting obligationsStrong written communication and report-writing skillsThe ability to independently manage deadlines, documentation and stakeholder communicationStrong professional judgement and the ability to work autonomouslyA commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed and rights-based practiceAn existing client base,
