We are seeking a full-time Hostel Manager to oversee daily hostel operations, lead the team, maintain high service standards, and ensure an enjoyable and positive experience for guests.

and financial performance to support the profitability of the hostelCoordinate social events, activities, and community initiatives to enhance the guest experienceMaintain a welcoming, safe, clean, and well-organised environment for guests and staffManage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and external service providers as requiredMonitor staffing levels and operational requirements to ensure adequate coverage during busy periodsEnsure compliance with relevant workplace health and safety, accommodation, and hospitality requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall hostel performanceWork collaboratively with management to implement business strategies and achieve operational objectivesWhat We're Looking For:Relevant qualification in hospitality, accommodation management, business management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experienceMinimum 1 years of relevant experience in hostel management, accommodation management, or a similar hospitality management roleStrong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse teamExcellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skillsExperience with budgeting, financial monitoring, and operational cost controlStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentPassion for hospitality, travel, tourism, and cultural exchangeAvailability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
