Next Level Consulting Solutions – Bathurst NSWNext Level Consulting is currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing operation in Bathurst.The business is part of a global organisation specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of railway infrastructure.
The Bathurst facility produces complex, heavy-duty steel components used across railway, metro and light rail networks, with a strong focus on quality, precision and safety.This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified Boilermaker who enjoys hands-on fabrication work, working with heavy steel and being part of a specialised manufacturing environment.About the RoleWorking as part of an experienced workshop team, you will be involved in the fabrication and assembly of large and complex steel components used in railway infrastructure.Your duties will include:Fabricating and assembling structural and heavy steel componentsReading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication plansMeasuring, marking out, cutting and preparing materialsMIG/MAG welding and general fabricationFitting and assembling components to tight specificationsUsing workshop machinery and fabrication equipmentCarrying out grinding, gouging and other preparation workWorking with large and heavy steel componentsInspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality and dimensional requirementsWorking collaboratively with welders, fitters, machinists and other tradesMaintaining a safe, clean and organised workshopFollowing established quality,

machinists and other tradesMaintaining a safe, clean and organised workshopFollowing established quality, safety and production proceduresAbout YouThe successful applicant will have the followingCertificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalentStrong welding and fabrication skillsAbility to confidently read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience working with structural or heavy steelGood measuring, fitting and fabrication skillsA strong commitment to quality and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamA strong safety mindset and reliable work ethicThe Background We're Looking ForExperience in heavy engineering, mining equipment, structural steel, rail, transport equipment, industrial fabrication or similar environments would be highly regarded.You don't necessarily need previous rail experience.
What's key is that you have the fabrication fundamentals, can work accurately from drawings and are comfortable working on large-scale, heavy steel assemblies.Why Join?
