This is more than an administration role.
It's an opportunity to become a trusted business support officer behind two Senior Leaders, working within two dynamic departments that help shape, regulate and support one of South Australia's fastest growing communities.At the City of Playford, you will support the Senior Manager Development Services and Senior Manager Regulatory & Community Safety, providing high level coordination, organisation and administrative expertise while contributing to projects, process improvements and initiatives that positively impact our community.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy variety in your day and take pride in making things happen behind the scenes, we would love to hear from you.Why this role?

Working closely with senior leaders, you will gain unique exposure across a broad range of functions while building strong relationships across the organisation.This is a role where no two days are the same.

From managing competing priorities and coordinating workflows to assisting with projects, reporting and process improvements, you will play a key role in helping teams deliver quality outcomes for the Playford community.What you will get to doProvide high level administrative and business support to two Senior ManagersManage calendars, meetings, correspondence and competing prioritiesPrepare reports, presentations, briefing materials and departmental communicationsCoordinate workflows,



deadlines and key actions to ensure priorities are deliveredUndertake research and project support activitiesSupport purchase order processing and departmental administrationAssist with process improvements and business system enhancementsBuild robust relationships with stakeholders across Council and the communityContribute to community education, marketing and awareness initiatives when requiredWhat you will bringYou are a proactive and resourceful professional who thrives on bringing structure and organisation to a busy environment.
With exceptional attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, you anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and support others to achieve excellent outcomes.To be successful, you will bring:Experience in a Business Support Officer, Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar roleExceptional organisation, prioritisation and time management skillsStrong written communication and document preparation skillsExperience managing confidential and sensitive information with discretionExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skillsHigh-level proficiency across business systems and Microsoft Office applicationsDemonstrated initiative, problem-solving and forward-planning capabilityKnowledge of Local Government functions,



experience working within a LocalGovernment environment and familiarity with Council administrative systems such as Pathway, ECM, OneCouncil, Click and website content management platforms will be highly regarded, but not essential.What's in it for you?
