Join Our Shutdown TeamWe're looking for a highly skilled QA/QC Welding Inspector to join our shutdown team in Gladstone for an exciting chance with one of the world's leading mining companies.
This role commences in October and runs for a duration of 4 weeks.
Your Responsibilities:
Provide technical guidance and quality assurance/quality control across the shutdown
Review and correct contractor-supplied welding procedures and ITPs
Review service provider accreditation and witness certification (sampling)
Produce MDRs and closeout documentation
Escalate quality or schedule issues as required
Your Skills & Qualifications:
WTIA Certificate 10 – Welding Inspection (or equivalent)
Relevant experience in shutdown activities
Subcontractor coordination and management skills
Dedication to health, safety, and environmental standards
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical
