About the Position
This is an opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager to take a key leadership role within a busy hospitality operation.
You'll oversee shifts, lead the team, maintain service standards, and ensure the venue runs smoothly across all areas of the operation.
Offering $80K + super, this role suits a confident hospitality leader who enjoys being visible on the floor and taking ownership of the shift.
Position Description
Oversee day-to-day venue operations during allocated shifts
Lead,



coach and support the hospitality team
Set clear expectations and maintain service standards
Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate operational priorities
Manage customer service and resolve guest issues
Monitor venue presentation, compliance and safety
Assist with rostering, staffing and labour requirements
Oversee gaming, TAB and other venue operations where required
Complete shift reports and communicate key issues to senior management
Support training, development and performance management
Be hands-on and visible across the venue during busy periods
Position Requirements
Previous Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or senior hospitality supervisory experience
Strong experience leading hospitality teams
Confident setting expectations and holding team members accountable
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience managing busy service periods and multiple operational areas
Sound understanding of liquor, gaming and venue compliance
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
RSA and RCG required
Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
Reliable, hands-on and confident leading from the front
