Dentessential is seeking a dedicated and organised Dental Assistant and Receptionist to join our team in Richmond, NSW.
This is a part-time position that combines clinical support with front-of-house duties, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a agile healthcare environment.
You will be integral to ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and have a seamless experience from the moment they arrive at our practice.
This role offers the perfect balance between clinical engagement and administrative responsibilities, allowing you to develop expertise across multiple areas of dental practice management.Key responsibilitiesProviding chairside assistance to dentists during patient treatments, including instrument passing, suctioning, and patient comfort managementSterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocolsPreparing treatment rooms and ensuring clinical areas are clean and well-stockedGreeting patients warmly and managing reception duties, including check-ins and check-outsScheduling appointments and managing the practice appointment system efficientlyProcessing patient payments and maintaining accurate financial recordsHandling telephone inquiries and responding to patient requests professionallyMaintaining patient records and ensuring all documentation is accurate and confidentialAssisting with basic patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment careSupporting the dental team with administrative tasks and general practice operationsWhat we're looking forA relevant qualification or certification in dental assisting,
