About the Role
Working within a small and collaborative team, you will be responsible for:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Bank reconciliations
Resident account management
Maintaining accurate financial records
Following-up outstanding accounts
Assisting with finance-related enquiries
Supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the village
Retirement village accounting is a specialized area that extends beyond standard accounts administration.
The successful applicant will develop an understanding of retirement village operations and legislation, making this a varied, engaging and rewarding role for an experienced finance skilled who enjoys applying their skills in a unique environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping role
Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
Experience performing reconciliations with a high level of accuracy
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, professional approach and willingness to work collaboratively within a small team
Experience with Xero software and Microsoft Office applications
