Football NSW is committed to the implementation of the Club Standards & Benchmarking framework, for the **** season, across Junior & Youth Clubs within the Talented Player Pathway.The Club Standards & Benchmark framework aligns with key focus elements of the Football NSW Strategic Plan to produce football talent and provide leadership to Clubs with the aim to make Football NSW the most effective youth system in Australia.The introduction of the framework will enable Football NSW to cater for the individual needs of Clubs within our football ecosystem and enable them to lead football development across all levels of the game.The Football NSW Technical Department will visit Club trainings and matchday during the season to support the growth and development of their program as well as meeting with Clubs and their members regularly.The framework will empower Clubs to create best practice environments for their players and coaches in support of retention, producing talent and making Australia an internationally competitive football nation.The Technical Advisor will support the Club Technical Development Manager & FNSW Technical Department in the implementation of the Framework within the Junior & Youth Leagues environments.
This role includes building robust relationships with clubs, observing training and matchdays and the production of reports at the conclusion of the season.
This role is critical to the growth of high performing football environments within our Clubs landscape and will play a key role in building capability and capacity of Clubs.This position is being offered as a perfect opportunity for an independent contractor, where you will be responsible for your own hours and work remotely across various locations.
Payment will be made at the end of the season, based on visits conducted and reports produced.Key Areas of ResponsibilitiesConduct Club visits to support them in the creation and completion of the Club Standards & Benchmarking framework.Conduct training & matchday visits to evaluate the football development landscape.Accurately and fairly report findings, identifying areas of strength, weaknesses and opportunities for Clubs and FNSW.Create reports as required by the Football NSW Technical DepartmentKnowledge, Skills and Behaviour RequiredAFC/FA B DiplomaHigh level of football knowledge specific to youth development programsExperience within a Football NSW Club environmentExperience within Football NSW football development programsExperience in Microsoft suite applicationsHighly organised with strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbalThe ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks within defined time framesProven team player, with conflict resolution experienceEligibility to work in AustraliaCommitment to upholding Football NSW Policies, Procedures and behaviour expectationsWorking with children check and current driver's license, with access to own motor vehicleAFC/FA A Diploma or higherExperience in implementing similar Standard based programs within a sport environment
