Greencross Vets Chatswood is seeking a passionate and capable Practice Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence within our busy and well-established clinic.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager, Head Veterinary Nurse, or veterinary industry leader who enjoys balancing people leadership, client experience, team development, and business operations.Why You'll Love Working at ChatswoodGreencross Chatswood is a modern, well-equipped clinic conveniently co-located within Petbarn, creating a seamless one-stop pet care experience for clients and solid cross-referral opportunities.The clinic is equipped with:Dedicated surgery suiteIn-house laboratorySeparate dog and cat consult rooms and wardsModern treatment and hospital facilitiesLocated in the heart of Chatswood, you'll enjoy easy access to public transport, nearby parking, excellent cafés, restaurants, and major shopping precincts.This is a clinic with an established client base, experienced team members, and strong opportunities for growth and development.About the RoleAs Practice Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in the success of the clinic, supporting both the team and business operations while ensuring exceptional care for patients and clients.You'll work closely with the Veterinary Director and regional leadership team to create a positive culture, support staff development, and drive clinic performance.This is a full-time position (38 hours per week)



and we can offer flexibility in how those hours are worked:Five shorter shifts per week, orTo maintain visibility with the entire team and provide leadership across all areas of the business, the successful candidate will be required to work at least one Saturday per month.Your responsibilities will include:Leading, mentoring, and supporting veterinary nurses, receptionists, and support staffDriving a positive, engaged, and high-performing clinic cultureManaging rostering, workforce planning, and team developmentSupporting recruitment, onboarding, and performance managementWorking closely with the Veterinary Director to support clinic successMonitoring clinic performance and identifying opportunities for growth and improvementSupporting workflow management and operational efficiencyManaging stock control, supplier relationships, and general clinic administrationEnsuring exceptional client service standards are maintainedSupporting compliance, workplace health and safety, and operational processesHandling client feedback and resolving issues professionally and constructivelyContributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouWe're looking for someone who:Has previous Practice Manager, Head Veterinary Nurse, or veterinary leadership experienceHas experience working within the veterinary industryHolds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification (highly regarded)Has strong leadership, coaching,



and people management skillsIs confident managing teams and driving positive cultureDemonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesHas strong organisational and time-management skillsIs commercially minded and understands clinic performance driversThrives in a fast-paced environmentLeads with positivity, accountability, and professionalismMost importantly, you're someone who enjoys helping people succeed and creating an environment where both clients and team members feel supported.Why Join Greencross?
