You'll work across data transformation, modelling and the semantic layer, turning data from core business systems into trusted, well-structured datasets that can be readily used for analytics and reporting.The environment is centred around Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Power BI, so we're looking for someone with strong analytics engineering capability who ideally also brings practical data engineering experience across areas such as ingestion, ELT, integration and modern cloud data platforms.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and maintain scalable data models across the Microsoft Fabric environmentBuild reliable transformation and ELT processes from core enterprise systemsDesign dimensional models and reusable datasets for analytics and reportingDevelop and maintain semantic models supporting Power BI and self-service analyticsPartner with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytical requirements into robust data solutionsImprove data quality, documentation, governance and development standardsSupport CI/CD and the ongoing evolution of the organisation's modern data platformABOUT OUR CLIENTOur client is an established Australian organisation operating across a complex, project-based environment.
